Although yoga classes have grown in popularity, a private yoga class might be more appealing for beginners who may feel a group setting to be a bit overwhelming, especially for the first few classes. A private yoga class can help a beginner gain some experience, as well as focus on individual needs, set personal goals or overcome a health concern before moving into a larger group setting. Your instructor can work with you one on one to ensure that you are provided a safe and supported yoga practice. Private yoga may also be appealing to those who want to deepen their practice and skill set, and may want to focus on learning the best way to execute and achieve a more difficult pose or poses with the guidance of an experienced yoga instructor. Or maybe you are seeking something a little more accommodating to your hectic schedule, that a group class might conflict with due to work and/or social obligations.
